Carport

Hello everyone!
As you remember my post about having our cement poured,
we were hoping to have a carport put up on it in the near future.
Well, last thursday, at 7:50am the crew arived at our house to
put up our new carport. As you can imagine, Brian was thrilled.
He has been wanting one for some time now.

Putting down the anchors.

And here they are setting up the frame.

We were outside watching them when Cameron wanted me to

take this picture of this spider and its web. He had said that Spider-Man

had been there the night before. lol

Now here it is! Don't it look nice... and huge.
I've gotten used to it now, but at the begining it looked gigantic.

It will be nice during the summer to have a place to maybe

have a outside party. But Brian was just thinking about being able to wax the cars

in the shade and not having to wait till the sun goes down to do them.

These are the Phaunmillers, missionaries to Puerto Rico. They came to our church about 2 weeks ago and sang and gave a brief description of their work in the field.

Our youth will be taking a missions trip to Puerto Ricothis summer. I thougth it was neat to have some missionaries from there to come here and share what they are doing.

Little Man

Cameron has had a ear infection for a few days now
and has been on medicines since Sunday.
Today he feels better and wanted to go outside to play.
But the medicine also makes him hyper, which means
he didn't take a nap today.
He finally fell asleep on the couch a few minutes till 9.

First Roses

These are my first roses of the year!
Aren't they pretty. And I know there will be plenty
more but the first ones always seem prettier.

New Group

Here is our newest bluegrass singing group.

I'm not sure but I think that the title is

"What's Between You and God?"

Sunday School Outing

Last Saturday our sunday school class had
an outing. It was so much fun to just get away
and be goofy for a while. If you can't tell, we
ate at Chili's in Gastonia.

Tammy and Ken, Bruce and Kristi, Amanda and Chris,
Chad and Missy, Kelly then Me and Brian

Here is Joel and Pam. He took the picture and
Pam was on the other side of Tammy.

My Sweety deciding what to order.
Kristi with her 'birthday' ice cream. LOL

She is always playing the practical jokes so

this time we got one on her before she did it on one of us.

She was wanting some ice cream so we had the waiters sing to her

so she would get some. Below is the video of them coming out to sing.

Field Trip

Hey everyone!
Last Thursday, the home schoolers of our church, had their
field trip day and we were invited to go along with them.
The older kids went to a museum in Gastonia and the
younger kids went to the KidSenses Museum in
Rutherfordton, NC. There everything was
hands on and the kids really loved it.
When we first walked in the museum there was a
play firestation complete with fire truck and fire pole.
At one time it seemed like everyone wanted to climb
on top of the fire truck to see what's on top.

For out little workshop time there was a giant doll

that they rolled out and we learned about what's

Cameron and some of the kids were all ready to dress up
and play on stage then just then they rolled out Stuffy.

The large intestine

We were talking about the heart, so everyone had to find their heartbeat.

Harrison couldn't find his.
