This and That

Well, these are some of the last roses
of this year. They are still pretty but are
getting fewer in numbers.

Birthdays

Well, this was my first 2 cake weekend!
First was a birthday cake for our favorite
2 year old little boy: Joseph D.
He's so cute. He likes Thomas the Train now
he calls it "Tain...Tain".
Happy Birthday Joseph
The second is a cake for another person at churh.
I won't tell this person's name just in case this person
happens to look at my blog before the party.
But I thought that it turned out good.
I've been waiting to do a music cake. =0)

(I don't know why blogger put that pic sideways)

Happy Birthday!

Saturday my friend Kristi had her son Justin's 16th birthday. She had asked me
to make his cake and that it was to be a Tar Heel one.
I was kinda 'iffy' about this one but it did come out pretty good. :)
There was about 70 people who showed up.
Needless to say it was a full house.

Tammy, Cameron and Tammy

After a while some of the smaller kids went outside to play on the swing set.

And then it started to rain on them so they had to come inside anyway.

Present time!

Justin got a few gifts but mostly just cards (with money).

Opening our card

Here's Kristi waiting on just the right picture moment.
Thanks for inviting us. We all had a good time.

Look at Naomi's hair... she's a little Shirley Temple!

Then on the way home from the party the rain had stopedand it made for a very pretty sunset.

This sunset made me think of when Jesus will come back in the clouds.

Don't it look like the sun is getting ready to set on this cloud?

Cameron had a ball all day long. Here he is when we

are going down a big hill on the way home going "WEEEEE"!

Tammy's 8th birthday

http://www.123glitter.com/comments-graphics/

Happy 8th Birthday Tammy!

After church sunday night we had a birthday get together

with our sunday school class to celebrate Tammy's 8th birthday.

Yes, her 8th! She was born on leap year. Feb 29th.

I made her this princess cake.

This is Ethan Daniel Douglass. Isn't he the cutest!
I finally got a good picture of him.

We had pizzas from Domino's and a bunch of goodies
that were left from the youth revival the other night.

Tammy blowing out her candle.

And this is Hannah M. "Say cheese!"

Cameron and his sprinkles

Valentine's day, Cameron helped me make this
little valentine cake.
He loved using the sprinkles.

We also made cupcakes but I didn't get a pic of them.
(that's why it's only one layer.... the rest of the
mix went to the cup cakes.)

Happy Birthday Mrs. Janet

Saturday was Mrs. Janet's birthday. So, after bus church
we had a little birthday party for her and this was the cake
that I made for her and Bro. Ken. This was my first time
putting pictures on a cake, but I thought that it came out pretty good.

Then afterwards we went to Pam and Joel's house for a
"suprise" party for my birthday which was last wednesday.
And Pam and Tammy both made the same cake (which I
won't try to name). It was soooooo good! Thank you!
You will have to e-mail me the recipe.

Everybody enjoyed the cake and the time of fellowship.
Thanks for the party.

Friday, January 25th

Today we took Cameron out to eat at Logans for his birthday
and we were going to pick up 2 of his friends (Caleb and Nicole)
to go with us, but the whole family decided to go too.
Which was just fine by me! I love the company!
He just thinks that Caleb is the greatest.

This is my friend Pam. As you can tell, she is a nut.
So, we get along just fine! =o)

And tonight I finished icing Cameron's cake!!!
This year he wanted Army. There will be tanks
and stars on the cake as well as a number 4.
More pictures tomorrow.
