Cement

Hey, for a while now we have been wanting to put
up a car port. So last week we had someone come
out and pour us some concrete for us.

Cameron was in "awe"
just having a big cement truck in the yard.

Not bad! For our first cement job.

I wonder what will be our next project we do?

Pretty Pictures

Hey, Just some pretty pictures for you to look at.

Isn't it neat how God made even some of the tiniest things beautiful.
All we have to do is stop and look around (in this case down).

It's ladies trip time again! This time we went to Kay Chandler's

church in Graham,NC. The meeting was called "Still Sweeter".

You can see that the whole place was decked out with candy... even some of the people.

Here is our 'fearless leader' Mrs. Janet checking us in. lol

Missy L. and Kelly T.

Every thing was 'candy'... they even made a ginger bread house!

Kristi 'speaking' lol

While they sang a song about chocolate, these ladies
was walking up and down the aisles throwing chocolate candies. :)

Reba Bowman was the first speaker of the meeting.

They played a game called guess that candy. They had two contestants
on stage and Kay had a picture of a candy bar cut in half and the first
one who answered correctly got to choose a 'sweet' gift off the table of gifts.
Yay!! Missy won!!!! She chose a basket made out of candy and filled with candy.

For lunch that day we had a box lunch from Chick-Fil-A.
We all wanted to eat outside... and there really wasn't anywere to
sit down, so we ended up in the club house of the play yard. It was fun!

After we ate, those of us who ate in the club house had to go down
the slide to get down.

Amanda and Pam on the see-saw.
We had a little time to play before we had to go in.

Susan M. on the swing set.

There was another round of games and this time I won! Yippy!!!

And Amanda did win a prize too. She was a contestant in the
guess the candy bar game but lost, but when they started calling
out the winners of the 'guess how many candies are in the jar' game,
she said that she could never guess that. And as soon as she had the
words out of her mouth, she was called as the winner of the big Skittles jar.
Susan M. was also a winner of a game but for some reason I didnt'
get a picture of her... sorry Susan.
