Memorial Day Weekend

Hey, I hope that ya'll had a good Memorial day weekend. We had a good one here.
And I would like to say a thank you to all those who have fought for our freedom!
We started our weekend Friday by going to Dollywood with a bunch of friends
from church and their families. It was a good time! We had a great time on
the ride there and back. The two vans that we took were divided up into
the 'men' and the 'girls'. Once we got there we all divided up into a few groups.
I went with Brian and Cameron who went with some other guys. I went to
get some good pictures of Cameron (which, I did). ;)
First they headed to the kiddie water park.

It had hand pump water guns

and of course they got soaked...

and they had a great time doing it too!

Next they went to the Slidewinder.

And Bro. Joel, Caleb, Harrison and Bro. Brad went on this one.

There's Bro. Brad in the front of this one.
Here is Bro. Joel, and you can't see Caleb and Harrison in this pic.

Then me Brian and Cameron went our own way to the County Fair

There we rode the bumber cars first. This was Cam's first time

being able to ride and he LOVED it!

Then he went over to ride the bumble bees and the ducks.

Next they rode the Veggie Tale's roller coaster.

Cameron said that it was a little bit scary.

Then on to the train. We've been here 3 times and

this is the first time that it was operating.
Cameron can't wait
We rode for about 20 min. and after you got off

you had soot on you from all the smoke.

At the end of the day at the hotel we had a little birthday party for Bro. Chris.

He loves to play golf so I made his cake look like a small green way.

Monday
And for some reason Blogger put this pic sideways. But Monday morning

was a party for Carissa who was turning 2 and her mom wanted me

to make her a pink castle cake. I think it came out pretty good this time.

Then later that afternoon was our Memorial day cook out which was going to be at the
fellowship building, but things worked out that we could have it at our house instead.
Everyone played outside which was nice. It was such a beautiful day to do
anything outside!
Some played kick ball..
Then after some playing outside and down in the river and/or creek
the food was cooked and served under our new carport.
Which worked out great

There was hot dogs, brots, hamburgers and deep fried fish.

Then it was outside to play some more.
